Only Republicans have to provide proof, Mr Boehner, Democrats can say whatever they want, and simply saying it makes it fact.
Why else would all their constituents believe EVERYTHING they say?
Just look around here on sodahead...in the face of facts most liberals do one of two things.
1) Yell, scream, and call people names
2) Block when they run out of patience with you constantly reverting to facts instead of 'compassion' or some other unrelated thing.

Blocks are a badge of honor, and prove you won the debate.
Obviously, if they are unwilling to discuss it further, they have no more ammunition to use, so they use block as a last resort.

The purpose of the second amendment is to keep the governemnt fearful of revolution from an armed populace. Its the peoples check and balance against a controlling government. Wonder why Demcorats want to outlaw them so bad? Perhaps they are not as 'American' as they want everyone to believe. Perhaps they hope to unarm the population, so they can FORCE policy on us, and we will have no chance to resist, since the government isn't going to obey its own laws, they will write themselves an exemption, of course. I live near a National Guard post, and they are constantly in the community getting donations for the soldiers. Books, movies, games, soap, all kinds of stuff to make their lives easier.

Only in America do we argue with facts, even though it is facts that are unbiased. Facts are simply facts, not open to interpretation, unless we talk politics, then each little fact will have an 'explanation'.
Where is this kind of 'fact interpretation' when people get arrested for breaking the law?
I mean, according to some people's outright dismissal of facts, we might as well open the doors to all prisons and let the innocent go, since it was facts used to put them there, but if they are allowed to 'explain'........ (more)
