    I wonder what the articles of Impeachment are? Isn't this just a bunch of mental masterbation by a group of people who got their ass handed to them in Nov. 2008? The only group that can bring articles of impeachment against a sitting President is the the US Congress. But, once again, I wonder, what would they charge the President with? What has he done that is impeachable.
    I would also imagine that the lot of these people think that impeachment implies removal, when in reality impeachment is only a trial, held in the Senate.     (more)

History is pretty clear that the 2nd Amendment was not put there in order to allow citizens to own guns in case one day they had to overthrow their government. Remember, we were forming a 'more perfect union.' The 2nd amendment was put into place in order to allow citizens to defend our government in case the need arrived. At the time, we had no full time Army or Navy. Jefferson was also not in favor of a full time Army or Navy during peace time. So, the 2nd Amendment was created in order to allow every man to own a firearm in case the need arose to call up a militia.
    The 2nd amendment has been distorted by groups like the NRA to represent some sort of wholesale claim that it's a right of the people to own guns in order to one day carry out an armed insurrection of the current goverment if the need arises. Supporters of this misinformation really like to drag it out when there is someone in the whitehouse they don't care for.     (more)

    +6 raves I think Dr. Lecter has an enourmous amount of compassion for Clarice. Sure, he'll eat your liver ... I think Dr. Lecter has an enourmous amount of compassion for Clarice. Sure, he'll eat your liver with some fava beans, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care. It helps to add dimension to the character. It is also why he is so refined in his mannerism and tastes. It's a juxtapostion, to have a killer who can show compassion for another.
    I love this book and movie, I'm going to have to go and watch this scene again.
