Hey Dave...how's things, mate? Was halfway through my last reply to your email a week or two ago - re: Nascar, Ambrose, etc - & then nodded off & lost the lot when my laptop battery went flat...& we've previously discussed how much it sucks to re-write something after losing it the first time!!

As for me & music, I've loved electronic music since I was a little kid - & when it was far more obscure - so my main musical loves are New Order, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, The Stone Roses, The Smiths, 808 State, Happy Mondays...very indie & Manchester-oriented, & very 80s/90s...I could easily add a heap more bands (never been much into individual artists) & have about 350 CDs (not burnt/pirated ones either) but you should get the idea from those whom I listed.

What are your musical preferences anyway, legend? And btw, later tonight I'm gonna re-write a more succinct response to our Nascar discussion than the previous one that I lost, re: racing technology, etc & why I called them "technologically retarded"!!

Things are good Matt...LOL, aside from seeing Jacques get robbed of a win at Montreal couple of weeks ago.

I'm all over the board with music, pretty much anything except for 'Country & Western'. Not much for Jazz either, and while I love Classical music I can't stomach Opera...... maybe because I don't have a clue what is being said.

I could very well like all of these artists; however, I don't listen to music much anymore. I pretty much watch TV or work on the computer or something else. But with the exception of rap -- which I like the general beat but don't listen to because I can rarely understand what they're saying and once I got caught snapping the fingers and tapping the toes and somebody informed me what the sneaky bastard was saying and it was filthy -- I like just about all kinds of music. Would probably put jazz down on the bottom of the list but I even like to listen to some of that as well. Must be something about getting old.

My favorite singer is Roy Orbison. My favorite song is, "Crying," by Roy Orbison. My favorite song to sing to an audience is, "You Were Always On My Mind," the Willie Nelson version. My favorite song of my own is, "It's Over," a song I wrote around the same time Roy wrote his song, "It's Over." 'whew'...
