- freakoutnow... cuz mom's here 2012/09/16 19:40:49None of the above+2Talent shows have always been on TV as they are cheap, easily resurrected, and they never permanently go out of style. So even if they have fallen out of favor once again they will be back someday.reply
- pdt_ski 2012/09/16 18:46:10Yes+3Wading through combinations of lesser talent in order to determine the best talent is work. When it was new it was interesting but now it's just work until you near the end of the season so you only have to listen to the talented ones.reply

- bob h. 2012/09/16 16:33:30Yes+4Yeah; the unreal "Reality" shows have taken over. As soon as rating show signs of life and the actors expect to get paid, it's curtains.reply
- Janet C K 2012/09/16 15:03:22Yes+4Simon thinks he's brilliant. Brittany Spears?! Yuk. No one cares what her crazy opinion is. It's not like she has the triple treat going for her. Sure she's pretty, can sing. She's not Beyounce. Not that Beyounce has the personality to be a judge. Anyhow, I don't watch American Idol that much either unless there's interesting contestants.reply

- Nameless 2012/09/16 13:53:59Undecided+3No idea. When we watch a show like that, we watch "America's Got Talent." (The amusement factor with Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne, and Howie Mandel is wonderful.)reply

+5True - it gets done to death, and then as quickly as it comes it goes because every one gets sick of them...;)reply - elptrek... JMCC 2012/09/16 11:40:46
+3Dancing with the stars cut back to one season a year, because people was getting tired of them being on with only short seasonal breaks.reply - Janet C K elptrek... 2012/09/16 15:06:04
+4They've had some pretty bad choices for contestants. Putting dancers or close to it against others who are suppose to have little to no experience, isn't fun to watch.reply - elptrek... Janet C K 2012/09/16 21:35:14
+1The regulars are ballroom champions. The star with some exceptions are old and at or near the end of their careers so that is why the athletes tend to do better.reply - Janet C K elptrek... 2012/09/16 23:00:59 (edited)
+2I know about the "teachers"/regulars. I mean it was fun to watch celebrities w/ no dancing talent, compete. It's NOT fun watching people who do music videos or others with some dance background, "show off". My favorite was the race car driver.reply
