Yes, I've been on 5 cruises, and I loved all of them. In fact we were on a cruise and took the tour to Atlantis.

Ohhhh....I went on a cruise to the bahamas wow the blue water, the snorkling it was awesome and these new ships are off the hook. You can be treated like a King or Queen. I ate fruit the whole time it was the freshest and most wonderful and the ice sculptures. Ohhh everyone should go on 1 cruise at least once in their life certainly a buck list thing!

Lucky you...my boyfriend loves to fish on his bass boat so I think he'll do just fine on a cruise :) I don't get sea sick my dad loved the water so it's in my DNA :)

If you really want to go to the absolute perfect spot for a beach side wedding, Barbi, I think that you should seriously consider beautiful Gary, Indiana, which is located on the shores of Lake Michigan.
I've been there a number of times, and intend to go back again and again.

The spring/summer/fall climate is great, but just make sure to have plenty of handi wipes to purge yourself of the steel mill grime; it can be a problem at times. So if you decide to wear a cotton dress, don't get a white one!
Also, make certain that you and your significant other both carry guns---BIG guns. Normally the natives are tame enough, but...

The hotels/motels in Gary are the very best, Barbi; but just to be safe, pick up a gallon or two of chlorine bleach and some bug spray before you check in.

It was "okay". Nassau was a pretty cool place. My kids had a blast. Unfortunately there isn't any decent surf. If you are really looking for "paradise"(not just an island called paradise) try the Maldives. We have gone a few times and I will say its paradise. The Solomons are a close second..

Edit: There are a ton of Americans so it doesn't really feel like you've gotten away. Everything is catered and its a pre-determined vacation completely on the beaten path. If that is what you are looking for or you haven't traveled much then I would say Its perfect for you. I don't want to sound negative about the place it just wasn't our thing.

Yeah absolutely stunning! Seen the commercials went to their site and they have a downloadable app so you can get around! Wow...I might just wear a cotton dress when I get married and drag my better half there with the extra money saved! That is if people say it's as nice as it seems!
