Would You Want to Drink Out of a Cookie Coffee Cup?

AdriHead 2012/07/25 22:54:37
You!

Regular cups are so boring. If you love cookies and you love coffee, this latest invention is a total "win" in your book. It's a coffee cup... made out of cookies. The best of both worlds! Are you digging the edible design? Or would you rather stick to more traditional forms of drinking utensils?

THEAWESOMER.COM reports:
Venezuelan designer Enrique Luis Sardi created this cup-shaped cookie for Lavazza, lining it with a delicious sugar coating to keep the coffee in - and your tastebuds happy when you chomp down on it.

What a neat idea, just like the edible soup bowls at Panera bread. Neato!

I'd like the edible cup. It kinda reminds me of Willy Wonka. But I really don't like coffee, so I'd have cocoa in it instead. :D

No because eventually the coffee will soak right throught the cookie and you will have a big mess on your hands.

Of course, this is a great idea.

For the environuts, nothing in the landfill, not to mention that it's a two-in-one if you wanted to get a bagel or muffing or something.

Now expand on this idea -- cups and drinks made of different treats.

Btw, Is everyone here really really young? I see so few mentioning Willy Wonka.

That may be good for averting dawdling during coffee break,
set it so the cups spring leaks or collapse after 15 minutes.

It might taint my coffee. Dairy in the cookie would screw up the acidity, and sugar might sweeten it.

Hhmmm... I might have tried it, but it's lined with all that sugar. I am trying to cut down on my sugar intake now, so I think I'll pass.

Sounds great, but I'm sure it would leak all over and just be a huge mess and you'd wind up with a soggy blob. I'll keep my coffee in Dunkin' Donuts styrofoam cups, thanks!
