Would you survive in the wild?

No, I can barely survive in "civilisation", let alone in the wild!

I am very dependent on too much modern stuff to live in the wild.

Learned to hunt and fish as a child and still do - understand what is necessary to survive.

It really depends on where I am (for instance, I don't think that I'd survive in the Alaskan wilderness), but in the main...yes.

I'm old and physically compromised, so I would die off rather quickly. When I was young and in good shape, I would have had little problem.

I think I would be able to survive and thirive in the wild. I grew up hunting, fishing and working on our farm.

i'm a country boy. I would survive.

Besides having the appropriate hunting tools, a little survival training courtesy of the US taxpayer and the US Army has opened my eyes to many additional protein resources. As an extra "rainy day" measure, there are some strategic stores in Texas and Oklahoma of ammunition and freeze dried rations and MRE's

Survival in the wild may be necessary if a catastrophe were to strike, knocking out our power grid. Those unprepared for disaster would make urban life a high-risk venture. Therefore, in the short run, until the grasshoppers have extinguished themselves, the wilderness may offer the best refuge.
