It's a good idea if you have kids in the house. For me though, I rarely drink, and there aren't any others in my house, so it's useless to me.

This is genius but even better... what if they were to come up with something like this for drink glasses at clubs and parties. What a way to keep date rape at bay and stop ppl from putting things in your drink while you're not looking. Yes this must be made. Now for solving how it fits different sizes of glasses lol, but that's for the inventor/designer.

i think the best use for this would be a home where there are teenage children present.
(the one use that was NOT mentioned).

22USD to keep your children (or their friends) from drinking that bottle of wine you are saving for your anniversary or for holidays is really not a bad investment.

To me this seems very similar to having child blocks and passwords on your television and computer.
