If you live in a place where your roommates or family members -- I'm looking at you, Uncle Ted -- tend to drink your beverages, behold the Combination Bottle Lock! This innovative yet oh-so-simple device is exactly what it looks like: a combination lock for your wine and liquor bottles so that you'll be the only one to enjoy them.

Sure, it's a little selfish. But it'll also save you that trip to the market because of someone else's booze-stealing ways! The Combination Bottle Lock will set you back $22, though. Do you think it's worth it?

A simple way to secure your wine and liquor bottles. Do you live with people who like to drink? Yeah, well keep them away from your expensive hooch with the Combination Bottle Lock, would be a great gift too!

    Yes, this is brilliant!
Caught my past room mate's guest drinking out of my milk container I had in the fridge.I guess the lock would have saved him from being beaten and thrown out by me.

I sure would. You guys are missing the real use of it. If they could be adapted to be used at a bar when you go to the bathroom, it could prevent roofie sex. :)

    No, that's crazy talk.
I can imagine that many of my friend's parents wished they had such things when we were growing up, but if you're not protecting your stash from under-age-drinkers maybe you aught to be thinking about what's so damned important about some booze that you need to lock it up

but, if these were for drinking glasses, and available for use at bars, that would be a cool thing to prevent getting dosed... I've had it happen to me twice!

I'm sure kids will find a way around it, but for parents who are concerned about teens raiding their liquor cabinet (and worse refilling them with water or some other substance, ewww) this could do the trick and let their minds rest easier.

If whatever is in the bottle costs that much then I could never afford it anyway.
I have better things to do with what money I am lucky enough to have.

As a parent, I am always concerned about my daughters when they go out (they are adults, but still...) that someone will slip something into their drinks. So, they abide by a rule we set when they were younger - never leave your drink with anyone, period. If they had a lock on their drinks, they could lock - go dance - come back unlock and not have to waste the drink. It's a great idea. Wish I had it when I was younger.

I barely have anything in the house but even so, I see no reason to. However, I could see a use for them, if need be.

I don't think the bottles that aren't in use should have a combination lock. However, I do think it would be a great idea at bars. Give the person a beer with a combination lock on it. The combination is printed right on the bottle. If they can't figure out the combination, they're too drunk and don't need to have any more.

Isn't this overkill and what about a mini fridge with a lock? That's what my parents had.

There are easier ways to secure ones booze.

Honestly though, I do not think i could stand to live with someone that put me in a position to take those measures.

This would be great for an expensive bottle of liquor that you do not intend to share with anyone.
