    As you freeze to death there comes that point where you actually feel warm as the body shuts down...in fact there are hundreds of documented cases where people stripped off their clothes before they died of hypothermia

    "Slowly" kinda sucks altogether now, doesn't it? Freezing can end up feeling like burning after long enough, but still not as painful. All these people saying freezing is painless are nuts. It may not be AS painful, but it sure does hurt and I can attest to it!

    At a certain point in freezing, you have a heart-attack. I'd rather die that way then fire..

    I nearly drowned once in icy water and had hypothermia - it wasn't too bad after the first minute or so. Burning slowly is about as painful as it gets.

    Not sure its that easy to slowly burn to death. Freezing would be less painful I would imagine.

    You fall asleep with the freezing proccess.The burning is a lot more painful as you can feel everything to the last moment.
