Both hurts but I can deal with getting dumped easier and I will get over it so much faster.

The guilt of hurting someone whom I used to love and still loves me so much sticks for a long long time. Now this is torture...

Dump them

Ok, this really is pretty cut and dry. I have as of Thursday night dumped a girl so I am speaking fresh off the kill. I have also been dumped, 4 years ago, by the love of my life. Having two solid instances so fresh in my mind and on my heart I feel I am qualified to answer this. The dumping I had to do last week hurt me in a way that I had never experienced. I caused horrible pain on someone and could take it all away by taking her back, but no, I dig the dagger deeper. Not because I want to, but because I needed to. I literally was as emotional as I think I am capable of, which she claimed was not emotional at all. B.S. though because there were a lot of tears and I meant every one of them. This situation was painful, and I feel a loathing of as if somehow it was my fault that we started dating and she was much to sweet and nice and I should have known i'd break her heart and...yea, real crazy thoughts like that because I blamed myself so much for her pain. But in the end it was the right thing. This being said, had the love of my life dump me after 3 years, 4 years ago, and I still haven't recovered from that. At least when you do the breaking up it is because that is what you want. We wouldn't do it if the pain wasn't worth the outcome. Too many people are too pathetic to ...

You gotta man up and do it, because once the thought enters your head its over. Breaking up may be hard to do, but being broken up is hard to repair.

But now I'm older and wiser. I can remember fretting and losing sleep; how do I do this without hurting them? blah blah blah....When shoe is on the other foot and they feel you won't do enough for them, they don't bat an eye. It's a split second decision. So...Dump, dump swiftly and kindly, then get on with life is all I can say.

Sure getting dumped hurts sometime, but I always feel awful and awkward and nervous when I dump someone. I can handle being dumped better

No one likes rejection or to be hurt. While I wouldn't want to hurt someone by
dumping them, I would much rather dump someone than to be dumped. Some men
deserve to be dumped and I've had to dump a few in my time. It's easier to move on
with my life when I am the first to end a relationship that isn't going to work. I don't like
the word 'dump'. I much prefer to see it as letting the person go.

I'm too apathetic to care about getting dumped, but it breaks my heart to break up with someone else and see their pain. I wouldn't mind dumping someone if they didn't show any emotion.

Advise to men dumping women. Let them go easy, but be upfront and honest and don't hold anything back. Often times, women won't believe it is over if you are beating around the bush. They will think you are speaking in riddles.

Can't say that either is good idea but it can happen, being dump can't be any different than dumping someone. Someone has to do it if the relationship has gone bad or it didn't work out. It sad for both parties.
