What started out as a silly little idea has blown into a viral sensation -- and one that people are actually testing out. "Phone stacking" isn't your average internet meme. It's actually a really cool concept. And it's for people who are a little too attached to their phones.
This is how it works: before a dinner with friends or family (or any event where real-life social interaction is suggested), people stack their phones one-by-one on top of each other. Then, they do the unthinkable: continue on with their lives as if the electronic device isn't even there. If they hear a sound indicating a text message, they ignore it. If they hear their phone ringing, they simply pretend they don't. And then they carry on with their dinner.
But here's the catch: whoever can't bare the thought of overlooking their latest text and ends up caving by grabbing for their phone, loses. And then they have to pay the bill for dinner, or buy a round of drinks for everyone, or...well, you get the idea. So, what do you think? Is phone stacking a cool idea -- or is it just another pointless game that somehow got popular?

I recently had the same problem and wasn’t sure if my girlfriend of five years was cheating on me. I never really looked through her stuff in the past but I have been very suspicious due to late night calls and a couple of small lies.
I know all of you will not agree with me on this but I decided to spy on her to see if she was up to anything. All I can say is be prepared to accept the worst if you go this route. I personally would rather know what is going on behind my back.
Anyway…I installed some Spy Software into her phone. All you have to do is log on to your computer to find her location by GPS.
The program also sends you all of the numbers that she called and all of her texts that are sent and received even if she erases them.
Just by the texts alone, I found that she was cheating with TWO GUYS!
The software information page is at http://www.newalternativesolu... if you want to check it out. It will give you answers if you really want them. Either way, it sucks for me but I am glad that I found out
I on the other hand do not live and breath with my cell phone attached to me. I do feel awkward when i go places without my phone, but that is because im a pessimistic person and i believe that everything that can go wrong will, so i therefore need my phone to contact my mother when bad things go down.
I text three people in a week, and less that about 20 messages a day. I text my best friend, my mother, and occasionally my brother. Thats it. If i really want to talk to my friend i call her, using our land line, yeah, we still have one of those, oooh how ancient.
This would be an awful idea for me because 80% of the time im using my phone is not for entertainment purposes. A lot of times its to do research, listen to music while i write/study, or text my mother because something of semi-importance happened at school...
