Yes, if the cosmetic problem was severe enough to be causing him or her emotional harm, I would take my child to the Plastic Surgeon to talk about the surgery to my teen, and let my teen decide, after being fully informed by the Surgeon.

No, my teenager is not mentally prepared for such a permanent procedure.

Uhh, I'm a teen and would never consider plastic surgery...... And if i ever have kids, they can make that decision when they are adults and are fully aware of the pros and cons.....

Self defense classes would be more appropriate in my opinion.

Need a third answer here. . . I would NOT unless they looked deformed. Your features are one of the things that makes you uniquely you and the supposed Perfect features or look is NOT neccesarily so. You make yourself awesome with the inner you shinning thru. Plastic surgery is still very much SURGERY ,. . . and that is a risky thing that could go wrong in so many ways it is not even something to consider unless it is absolutely needed. . . like for a cleft palete or something.

I'd prefer arranging it so that the bully would NEED plastic surgery.
