It would depend on the person. If its someone who I think is important to society or my family then yes I would. But they better be shooting those mother truckers down when I fall. AVENGE ME!

I would do it for anybody. If I saw the opportunity to save the person, and they weren't aware of the danger, it would be the humane thing to do. I couldn't just watch and do nothing.

For my husband and my children I would do it in a heartbeat. With anyone else I would probably still react in someway and try to shove them out of the path of the bullet. I don't know. These kinds of incidents happen so fast it's hard to know what anyone would do. It would have to be kind of a gut reaction.

why watch a friend/family member/innocent bystander get shot and be scarred for life and never be able to forgive yourself if you didn't do anything about it? that would suck.

If it were my son it would be my instinct without a moment's hesitation. He laughs because when we are in the car, if I have to make sudden and unexpected stop I put my arm out to protect him as he sits beside me in the passenger seat. He is 18 and bigger than I am, but I will still throw my body in front of his, even symbolically, if I sense he is in danger. It's what mothers do.

If you feel that strongly about this guy you should at least let him know you like him. Flirt with him. It's far less painful than a bullet, whether he reciprocates or not :)

*I wouldn't tell him the thing about the bullet tho, at least not right off!

Not if I knew it was coming. But say my girl and I are walking through some store and some dude just starts shooting or something, I think reflex may just take over and I would.
