October 9, 1971. I tried to call a friend from a pay phone, didn't have enough change, and decided to wait a week till his b'day. He drowned the next day. I'd go into a store to get more change and make the damn call.

It'd be a real toss-up between reliving the 70's all over again, or going to the old west. I'd really like to experiance that!

Yes as long as I had the option to return to the present. I would go see my dad. He died when I was 5 and I don't remember him very much.

I would love to see different time periods. I Lived through the horrible 80's and 90's lol. I would like to listen to the music of the original Woodstock. Or watch an original performance of Shakespeare. I think time travel would be nice, but I also think there would be people who would ruin everything if they could time travel.

I guess if i could go back and handle certain situations differently .....but then my life might have taken a different track all together ....so no......onward. Best not to look back except at good memories. ;)

I'd love to go back to 1804 and go West with Lewis and Clark. It would have been great to see the West in it's pristine state, before being overrun by settlers.

I think that's more of a conservatives style. They always refer to the times of the Constitution or Moses or something like that. Me I'd rather see the future like the next days lottery numbers to be drawn.

I know that feeling, I wanted to call my dad and thought I would get the Call Card to speak with him the next day and got a call at around midnight my time in Singapore on the 26th of November 2004 that he had passed on. I had spoken to him that Sunday prior to his death and told mum two days later he looked week. I was calling to get a trip ready to bring him out of the country for Christmas but never expected to be there seeing him lifeless. Its a memory I cannot forget and the only guilt I have is not showing him his grandson.

But you were planning to do a wonderful thing that you all would have loved -- it's not your fault you couldn't.

Believe he sees him. They're both in your heart, so your father can see your son through you. :)

You are right!!! He looks just like him from the side of his face. Just like his grandfather and like his father in front with my smile.... That is exactly what someone in my past told me, Why do you cry when he is alive in you, he will always be as his blood runs through your veins.

I would go back and study history and get myself some souvenirs. Also I would change one small thing and write down the outcome. Or I would change something in my life and see what my life would be like, and if I didn't like it, I would go back and keep myself from changing it.

I would like to go back to 1912 and warn people about the Central Bank.

Yes, but the populace didn't, and if the populace had been warned, they might have made the politicians fear for their careers, or lives, and drop it.

I look forward, not back. Jesus is coming back. Why would I want to put space-time interval distance between Him and me?

And I've heard of so many catches. For instance: that the time traveler remembers the time-line as it was before the change, and the time-line as it is afterward. So if a time traveler went back to change history deliberately--say, to execute serial murderers at the moment they were thinking about making their first kill--a myriad of probabilities would slam into his head every time. He (or she) would go crazy eventually.

I don't want to travel in time because time travel is messy. What if I got sick? What if I changed history without even knowing it?

YES someone else who loves 80s music! I love Journey and Rod Stewart and a few of Micheal Jackson's songs (Beat It, Thriller, The Earth Song). This isn't a song, but I love the book "Labyrinth". The movie was cool, but it was kind of cheesy.
