thanks, it is custom made meaning, i purchased all the parts and put it together myself.....you can't go into a store and say i want one since a custom bike like this does not exist :-)
if you were in the neighborhood sure....i originally was going to go with 2x10 or 20 speeds/gears.....i changed my mind and went with 3x10...so it has 30 gears.....the front chainring is a triple with a 30/42/52
when i first was buying parts i had microshift 2x10 shifters with both the front and rear derailleurs compatible in a set...$200.00 here in the USA eBay but $185.00 from the same seller on eBay UK....so i saved $15.00 there but everything changed with the 3x10 swordfish chainrings........i needed a new front derailleur that could handle a 30/42/50 as well as a rear derailleur with a longer cage to handle the 11-30 rear cassette
so the original derailleurs were red, white and silver....now the front is silver and the rear is black and i like it since the one i had intended to use was red/white but it took the colours of the bike off the frame....what i mean is with a black derailleur, the colours stops.....just think of having stripes painted on a car but they go inside the door jambs...
thanks...i am self taught in two things....bikes and computers...lolz...i just like explaining how and what happened
the bars are deda elementi....and note that they are curved so that the brake/shifters will work
and i am actually using a mountain bike stem which adds one pound of weight to the bike but i don't like a squirrely front end....you know...moving around too much
never been on the beach in the rain :( i love the beach n i love the rain.. but i never experienced both at the same time.. havent been much to the beach either.
enigma is a favorite music group of mine
