Actually, I did in 2004. Did my Basic, and AIT, at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. 13F, Artillery Fire Support Specialist/Forward Observer ( I was one of the guys that got to go waaaaay out in front of the artillery, and tell them where to shoot the big guns. And, air strikes, too!), and then assigned to the 11th Armored Cavalry.
I miss that job...

I have many great friends that are Army Vets (along with the other Services), but I'm all Navy..

I did join and served, but back in the day. Interestingly enough, I had far more military experience than our current joke of what passes for a president....the same goes for business experience and even politics, having been Home Room President and President of Student Council.

Volunteered for Nam me and a buddy. He got orders (72) and ended up rerouted to Germany before I got there.
