Exactly, imagine that, hundreds of murderers free to walk the streets, and all the richer for it, only in the best possible world could this work and we are far from it, sadly.

Google Liverpool Pathways, it`s regarding the care of the old + infirm. it seems care + medical attention is not being given to many old people, they are being left to die. One of my US connections asked me about it as this is also part of Obama`s heath care plan !!. I am convinced this has been going on a long time.

I do know that 'mercy' doses of Morphine have been given in certain circumstances. It is not in the interest of the government to preserve old people who are claiming pensions, given that the last one spent all the money in the piggy bank, i'm afraid old folk are seen as a drain on resources....unless the sell their homes to pay for their bed in a (3rd rate) care home. If Obama is also carrying out this practice through legislation, then the over 70s should be very afraid in the western world.

It would all depend on the circumstances. If they were dying a painful death, I might just help them die with dignity but just to end their life for no good reason, never.

I can't say no, that I wouldn't. I have watched someone die by inches in great agony, someone I loved very much. I believe that we should be able to end our lives with the dignity we so often never have during our lives.
