I remember friends of mine telling me the day they got married there was an arranged marriage going on before theirs and they had to spend half an hour getting the bride out of the bathroom because she was crying on account of the fact she found her husband to be hideously ugly

It's hard enough for most people to find the person they want, and can spend the rest of their life with. Having an arranged marriage is like a roll of the dice, or flip of a coin, only pure chance of it working out.

It's not the preferred route but if I were being honest, I'd be pretty sad if I hit 30 and I'm still on/off single. Besides, I trust my parents. They'd find someone I'm compatible with.

As it has been explained to me, that is, both sets of parents introduced us and set everything up, sure I would do it.
My parents have already accurately predicted the outcomes of my past relationships after only briefly talking to my gfs. Regardless of how they liked her.
