Taken that rats are really dirty (disease carrying suckers) and that fried foods are really bad for me(gallbladder), no chance. lol

But they're tastier if you roast them on low heat. You can't tell rat from squirrel, well actually the big Norway rats are better than most squirrels if they're fed well. Wear rubber gloves when working with, squirrels, rats and rabbits, they often have parasites that people can catch, but thorough cooking kills the parasites.

I can kill, dress and cook anything I eat. Can you?

I would probably try it if it was right in front of me and there were other people eating it saying it's good but I wouldn't go out of my way to get a rat and put it in boiling oil

That is so sweet. I wouldn't eat him either.

But wild ones aren't so nice. They're not gourmet food, but when the economy gets worse and the kids need protein just remember Sly Stalone in "Demolition Man" who said "That's a really good rat burger".

I've been hungry enough to seriously ponder ways to catch and cook the pigeons landing on the windowsill of my rooming house 'flat.' Hunger is a POWERFUL motivator. So yeah, if I were hungry 'enough'. . .
