Haha my brother got like 5 of his friends to eat milkbones with him in like 3rd grade at school and they all ended up throwing up before the end of the day :)
The world spends over, $40,000,000,000.00 a year on "dog food". ("I wanna find out what I'm missing out on! ("Somebody at least toss me a bone!") -BARK!-
I guess it depends on if the world came to an end as we no it and that was all the food I could find or dog food was so cheap and that was all I could afford... but otherwise could see myself eating as I personally don't like red meat or eat it in the first place
Not the canned kind anyway. I saw a show a while back that indicated that that type of food has bone in it - which the human digestive system isn't capable of processing. It can be unhealthy for human consumption. I know that there are people that have done this - as a result of falling on hard economic times - I feel for them. I remember as a kid thinking that Gaines Burgers looked like they would be good - but no, I didn't ever give it a try.
Of course; Reasonable people are not in the habit of eating dog food, however, it's an empirical fact, when the human species is totally deprived of basic nutrition, eventually, you will have ONLY two choices, dog food consumption or death; I prefer the former.
I have, just out of curiosity, tasted it. Canned tastes like Dinty Moore Beef Stew without any seasoning, dried tastes like crunchy meat without seasoning. Both were pretty bland and I wouldn't eat it as a steady diet without serious provocation
