    I would never stop speaking to my children no matter what, that said I am confident my children would never do that to themselves. I am the one putting them through college. If I was not supporting them they would work a respectable job, get loans and bust their asses for scholarships like the decent people they have been raised to be.

    this can haunt them .. for the rest of their lives (no matter how long or short it may be)
    Seriously ..
    between the problems (that include health issues within that purported 'industry' .. )
    the ramifications in the future ..
    career-wise, family, etc ..
    could be terrible indeed .

    Wouldn't say I'd shun them, but i'd be really disappointed. My grandmother sent four daughters through college and she was janitor so don't tell me it had to be done!.

    With the chance of aids, STD's and loss of self respect I don't think it is a good idea at all.
