  SOME YEARS AGO I WAS FISHING ON THE YELLOWSTONE RIVER (IN AN EARLY LIGHT SNOW STORM)... VERY QUIETLY, A HUGE "MOTHER" MOOSE AND HER BABE APPROACHED ME FROM BEHIND. THEY STOOD THERE (ABOUT 10 YARDS AWAY) FOR QUITE SOMETIME, JUST WATCHING ME CAST OUT AND RETRIEVE MY LINE. ....FINALLY SHE TIRED OF MY "ACTIVITY," TURNED AND LEFT JUST AS COOL AND QUIETLY AS BEFORE. NOW THIS "CITY MOOSE" IN THE PHOTO OBVIOUSLY NEEDS A COMPASSIONATE "ESCORT" BACK INTO THE WOODS....IT'S THE ONE WHICH IS FREAKED/CONFUSED.

  I've heard they're way bigger than folks think. Big isn't necessarily scary. Big and aggressive definitely is.

  Big animals scare me!! I was walking in a beautiful state park beach I love going to, I was on a trail in the woods when I was on my return route and YIKES I saw a big deer in the woods right near the trail, I first thought it was fake, like someone put it there to be funny, but uh oh it looked right at me, I became terrified, it, thankfully, took off running, but it was making some weird call, all I could think was, "Oh no, rape by a deer!" It stopped and was looking at me and made that odd call again...I walked on so scared and I had this terrible vision of it like chasing me and thinking I was maybe a deer in heat, ohhhh noooo! But it stayed put, though I walked on with trepidation that is was gonna come after me.
  
  There are videos of men who get into almost fist fights with deer because the idiot men have on musk that attracts the male deers to them ( but I have to admit the one video I saw of that male deer up on its hind quarters boxing the hunter was damn funny especially when realizing his friend videotaped the whole thing without aiding his friend getting that ass beating from that deer) So if I saw a moose face to face I know I would be scared to death!
