I could accept my child if they were gay, liberal, atheistic/any non christian religion, etc... but the ONE thing I will NOT tolerate is having a Pepsi fan in my house!

What kind of parent could stop loving his or her kid just because he/she happens to like the same sex? To me it's about as ridiculous as not loving your kid because he/she doesn't like the same food as you.

I can accept other people as they have nothing to do with me and can live there lives how ever they please. I could not accept my child being gay. They would know from the get go that this is something I don't believe in. They would have to leave.

Yes, you can beat them, abuse them physically and sexually, sell them into slavery or prostitution, addict them to drugs, let them eat scraps from the neighbors trash cans, post the pictures in the internet and treat "it" like the thing you choose to see "it" as. I still think you are a poor excuse for a parent and should seriously reconsider having children, or giving the one(s) you have up for adoption to someone who holds the human being in a little higher esteem than you appear to hold them. There are enough abused and neglected children without creating more.

No I cannot judge you because I do not know you. But I can respond to your comments as they make it apparent to anyone who reads them that you have no conception of the value of a human being if you continue to refer to a child (or potential child) as an "it"

Unless they lied to me about it but even then I would get over it in a day. Although if it were my first born son it would take a toll but I would learn to accept.

It is a shame that there are so few people who realize (and internalize) the fact that unless we show unconditional love to those near to us, whether family or friends, all we have is a friendship of convenience: the sort that weathers no storms, lasts for the moment and is blown apart by the slightest breeze. Of course. You love them no matter what, they're your children. Doesn't mean you have to condone or support homosexuality, doesn't mean that at all. Contrary to what seems to be predominant in TV, movies and print media nowadays, life isn't just about sex!

I would love my child, just because they love someone of the same sex will change nothing. My boy could come in with his boyfriend and I would welcome the young man. Same goes for my possible daughter.
