Women only: Why does this happen?

My bra size is 32A but when I buy bras of the same size sonetimes they're too small and sometimes a little loose. These sizes fit me- 32AA, 30A and 30AA. However when I pick out one of my size, there's a variation. Does this happen to you? Why does this happen?

Yes. It happened to me quite recently. Live and learn. But I hate trying on bras. Why does this happen? All items of clothing are like this. Different brands, different styles, different types of fabric, these are all reasons why you have to try EVERYTHING on.

Sizes are not actually standardized combined with margin of error for garment manufacturing was the consensus last time this came up.

Different designers/designs? Also, always purchase bras at the same time during your cycle. That makes a difference. I purchase the same style and same designer.

Sure, it happens all of the time. Different brands and even different bra styles will have a varying fit. I totally recommend trying on a bra before buying it, even if you're think it's your size. This really goes for any other item of clothing, too.

Have you been professionally measured? This helps a lot with that problem. But, as with all clothing, different brands run different sizes.

Each company/brand/place has their own "sizes" which vary over all brands. Pick a company/store and stick with it, then you won't have a problem with having to buy multiple sizes, of the same size.

Sizes can vary from shop to shop, and they can vary on what type of bra you choose too im a different size in balcony bras 32 dd and unpadded bras i'm a 32 E :o and padded bras i'm a 32 dd. but i always shop in the same store... where there is a woman that is called a 'bra fitter', she helps me choose the right size and many other women.
so, its not just you. thankfully!! i'm not alone either...

Unfortunately not. Different places have different sizes. Take Walmart and Lane Bryant for example. Walmart offers a cheap brand that has been labeled according to the company manufacturing them. Lane Bryants is a more expensive (but more durable) brand with a different system of labeling sizes. It all depends of the manufacturers of the bras.

I'm not a woman, but each maker is different.. Also if it is made in an Asian country, it will bee smaller
