I won't know until it happens. I have my doubts! Incidentally, it's hardly an "internet blackout". It's a virus infection causing a DOS.

Yes actually. In this case, Macs will not be affected. Have you seen the news?
This is not a simple net blackout, computers with certain MALEWARE were affected. It just so happens that this, like many versions, is not made for Macs.

Please, know what you're talking about before you try to make fun of someone.

Just read more recent reports which said they can be affected, my bad.
Macs are not more prone to viruses(OR freezes and crashes for that matter)...That's just silly. Most viruses are made for PCs..This is common knowledge.
I don't know what bad experiences you have had with Macs, but I have had 0. I once switched to PC because Macs did not support games (at one point) and I spent more money repairing that PC and getting viruses removed (in 1 year) than I spent on my current Mac. I'm also unsure of why you think I'd have to pay any great expense, I am completely covered.

To everyone who is wondering, this is the website you go to to check if your computer is effected/affected, eh I'm not sure.

    It's Mcafee by the way.
