No one knows when world is going to end I believe it's all fake stuff. Only God knows when it ends. Truth is If I survive Y2K I can survive 2012 & just enjoy my happy life

The past few days we've had storm after storm, power is out in a lot of southern Scioto County Ohio. Someone took an Axe to my girlfriend's swimming pool after her kids chipped in to replace the pump that someone took a hammer to, I guess whoever it is is determined that their neighbor is not gonna have a pool that HE (yes they know who did it but got no real proof, and the cops around here wouldn't take a footprint from the mud if their life depended on it) can't swim in... Maybe it's ending now...

It assumes that Mayans were super psychics or something and that they also meant something that they didn't say but only implied by not having an endless calendar. It's an absurd conclusion on so many levels.

The world will never end

The world, via the internet, will bear witness to so many false endings it will finally begin to outgrow it's obsession with the end of the world.

But ,even if Climate change eradicates human life, the world will continue and nature will renew itself. Even when the sun explodes, our comic dust will be smeared across the universal landscape, to be rebuilt as new stars and new planets for another chance at life that is both similar and entirely unique to what we have now. So no, the world won't end, it will only change, it will always change. We won't be here for that by the way, and if we are, we will have evolved into a form that we wouldn't even recognize as human if we saw it today. This is what you get for living in a universe that does not permit permanence. Way to go.

The calendar isn't the problem. It's the Galactic Alignment is what we have to worry about. It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of how bad, Ionospherically speaking. The Alignment is going to pull our magnetic field toward the center of our galaxy. How much and how bad the solar flares are going to be is what we should be concentrating on.

I'll tell you when it happens....

The Mayans believed in 'ages.'
Think of these ages like the Chinese zodiac. Every age is different from the last. The calender we found was the calender for the current 'age' the Mayans believed the world was in. So, no, the world will not end. That would take millions upon billions of years.

The Mayan calendar outlasted it's civilization by hundreds of years. It served it's purpose.
