I have put in a request twice, so far I am still here, but maybe it takes a while. This site is devolving into something that is starting to make me feel like there really is no hope for mankind.

Maybe you just need a break. It's the election. This always seems to happen around election time and this year the stakes are high. Don't quit permenently. Come back after a month away and see if your nerves are better. It's helped me in the past. I still enjoy the conversations here.

It will never end unless they shut the site down,There will always be a conflict of opinion because not everybody will agree I say soda head should take out the block and allow the war to go full tilt with no hidding places for the weak and cowardly

I totally agree with you on this,we should all have a open mind but the problem is you get people who think there opinion is the only right one and when you do not agree they throw a little fit and start the name calling instead of either debating with you or even just accepting the fact that not everyone is going to agree

I refer to the Right Wing Conservatives/Tea Party/Religous Right as the Right Wing Nut Jobs. or RWNJs.they are in general bigoted and politically ignorant,they just repeat and follow what they hear on Fox.and are told by Rush and Sean. which amounts to nonsense.

Only when people realize that arguing over these trivial matters doesn't help anything. Once I realized, a long time ago, that nobody wins an argument, I gave up arguing. Fighting over opinions is senseless, because what you believe to be true, is just that a belief, and it makes up who you are. Why is it so important to have everybody believe the same things you do? Were all just here to learn and grow, and when it's your turn to leave your body and move on, it's over, there's no need to fight.

I try and learn new things all the time for mental exercise, such as electronics/quantum physics, and robotics, and as far as arguing goes, ever since I was a kid I couldn't stand, even hearing other people argue. It makes me very uneasy, I don't know why, but it's built into my DNA.
