No the end of the world is not Dec 21st 2012 would people stop saying that
the Mayans Predicted the end of their Calender Cycle one world ends another BEGINS not the end of the world
the Babyonians Predicted that 12/21/12 would be the end of the age of Pisces
and new Age of Aquarius would begin
an Age of spirituality combining with science and peace for the next 2000 years
nobody has predicted yet what happens after Aquarius
extremely unlikely. a rogue blackhole could come through our solar system wreaking havoc i guess. a gamma ray burst could hit us. anything is possible.
That doesn't mean that it won't be the end of civilisation though, which it very well might be...

Scientist have discovered Mayan calendars that go back way past that. What started it was that one of the Mayan calendars ended then and they hadn't discovered more but they have now. But I agree with The Rock and the Bible, only God knows when and it's not for man to know!
My dad told me they found another Mayan calender.... although he did tell me to say hi to everyone that walks by unless they're young cause they might be murderers O.o so I don't know if I should believe him
