Okay, I have to ask: why does everything have to be universal? All we hear about is Universal Healthcare and Universal Gun Control. Does this mean if a Martian invades the earth, he will have to register his ray gun before he uses it and will receive health coverage if he gets hurt during his invasion?

(Look, if you don't have a sense of humor, don't bother leaving an answer. This is an entirely facetious post.)

The guns do not need to be universal because there are already laws in place we just need to use them.

Health care is very expensive right now at least insurance is. Many of my clients would go to work if they could keep their medical coverage. some of their meds cost thousands per month. I think it would be good for our economy if the employer did not have to pay for health coveragee for their emplyees. They could hire more bodies.

Remember we are being entrapped or nourished , take your pick, by a nanny state. If we succumb to Universal back ground checks, then google can tell Balmy where you are and how many of those pesky guns and rifles you own. Then they have to estimate collateral damage to see if they can confiscate your home and your dog!

Just checking to see if the had the requisite number of minorities represented in the proper world wide ratios! There is a good representation of neck tie colors. The split between white and blue shirts seems to be half and half. Unfortunately there are several that don't look happy. Maybe the didn't receive their bonus checks from the U.S.

I will venture a guess that they are all Ivy League related. As you may or may not know, they are the only intelligent beings on earth! I went to an Ivy League class reunion with a friend of mine. Trust me I didn't find them to be the sharpest tools in the shed! They are, however, heavy into the yellow brick road to socialism/communism. By claiming superior intellect they will be entitled to have dachas while the rest of us will sweep the streets with our government provided brooms.

UNIVERSAL BACKGROUND CHECKS ( in the case for Guns ) is nothing more or less than National Gun Registration ( illegal by U.S. Law ) . This is a PRE-Confiscation Law !
First the Government must know where the guns are located before they can Confiscate Them and haul You off to the nearest F.E.M.A. camp for interrogation .
