Between the T V , internet , cooking , cleaning , movies , music , crafts , artwork , books & all the rest i rarely have time to get bored . the whole key is to have a variety of things to occupy yourself with .
The funny thing is we have too much we can do. We have be over stimulated by TV the internet and other thing we take for granted. 100 yrs ago (maybe not ever that) if you lived in a small town and went to the city that was a big deal not today it's everyday thing to do.
A movie years ago big deal now who cares. I can go on but you can see my point.
Trust me I am bored right now. I could get on my motorbike and go but I've seen all I can see
around here. If I could I would just keep on going.... One day.
Are you seeking an answer or just bored at the moment? The answer is by nature, most of us are pleasure seekers. That's what fulfills us and makes us happy. Ideally, "contemplative delight" is a bigger part of what makes you feel content than "pure benevolence". If you are a pleasure seeker, it's very hard to feel fulfilled all the time. You chase highs, whatever they are.
So, for example, if your happiness comes from the love, happiness, and success of your friends and family or your religion or your job, and just their existence makes you feel content, happy, and whole, then you won't feel bored as much. If, on the other hand, your happiness comes from being in love, or seeing one of the best movies you ever saw, or one of the best books, or your sports team winning, or a great orgasm, or a great drug, or closing a big deal, or winning a big game, or eating a great meal, or seeing a band you love, you'll always be chasing, and often bored, make sense?

Honestly life is either boring, painful, or just ok. It's rarely great.
Enjoy the boring - make it fun
