Why is it that people think when someones bi they want everyone?

people have been saying recently tht if someones bi tht they love all there friends of the same sex. this is not true but why would people think this?

As a general rule, I hate people and people are stupid.

People don't understand what being bi really means. They think it means you are a slut for everybody. It doesn't, well at least as far as I can tell. It just means someone bi has a larger field to pick from.
