Because you let it get to you, you may be your own worst enemy. It is really difficult to miss what you never had. You never had it to begin with. Would have, should have, and could are merely negative laments. Rejoice in what is.

It's hard b/c you're plagued by the "what if" scenarios - what would have happened if we dated, etc.
So, take the lesson and leap into life with full gusto. Because the only regrets you'll have at the end are for the things you let pass you by, never those things that you grasped with two ready fists.

Because you will always ask yourself "what if?" Because maybe if he gave you the chance, you would have fallen in love with each other. Because you never got the chance.

I've been there. I still am there. Haven't been able to let go of the same person for 2 years.
