Why drink if you know ur jugdement goes out the window

so for example when i hear about people who drink and drive some people say well i was drunk what do u expect. well here is my response if you have to use that as an excuse or reason why drink in the frist place if you know you your judgement goes that much out the window. i do not buy it because you made the choice to throw your jugment out the window the second u decided to drink. so its kind of catch 22 you knew the risks of drinking but did it anyways and u made the choice so it is still your fault. just because you are drunk does not excuse or is no way understandable you are still at fault even when u drink cuz guess what u made the choice to drink knowing what could happen. and please dont say oh i am a much better person when i am drunk. yeah ur also porably the same person who thinks he can drive better while drunk and if u honestly can thats scary and u should not be allowed to drive. because you have extremely bad judgement.

I never drove drunk,but i did other stupid things while drunk,I quit drinking about two years ago.

what i dont get is why they have to go to bars and get drunk, and then drive. I mean hell for less money, you can buy your own beers and what not,and drink at home. But of course then they decide, (well some at least) they need more and then drive.
That is why when i do drink, which is not often, i buy the stuff and drink at home, as i know, i will not be up to par as to how i usually am.

yea, i have seen it first hand. My father would drink at home, and then go to a liquor place to buy more while drunk. And he has even drank and drove while i was in the car. And i think that is why i only drink maybe twice a year, and really dont drink that much. It's because ive seen it first hand, and how it can screw people up.

because its fun, and nice after a hard day at work. ;)

Doesn't mean I always get biligerently stupid.

Humans make choices. All of us have to choose whether to drink alcohol or not. If you cannot drink alcohol in moderation then don't drink at all.

and how many people can drink in "moderation". can i i dont know but i am not going to take the risk that i cant to find out nor do i want too cuz i porably cant and wont so i have to not even start cuz i cant take the risk i will fail.

Some people like to relax with their alcohol. Sometimes, life gets really stressful. Just because you drink doesn't mean you have to get drunk.

yeah.... and not they are extremely against it infact they pretty much drilled into to my head from the second i was born if i ever drank i was a horrible evil person.

thats a pretty stupid statement. and in all honestly i think thats really selfish in general because if ur judgment is out in the window u can do stupid things. and agian ur just as responsible if you do the stupid thing while sober or not.

yeah yet. there is alot that can happen u can do stupid stuff while drunk in a controled enviorment i can sort of understand but at the same time even if ur in a controled envoirmernt sometimes u can just come across as sad.
