Not being a Liberal, I couldn't say for certain, but perhaps they understand that both "Free Enterprise" and "The free market" are a myth.
The first requires a level playing field (which there is not) and the second is predicated on the fact that the market cannot be manipulated nor prices colluded, both of which are patently not true..
