Why does pizza come in a square box , if the pizza is round ?

Idk. Buttt I do know that those little plastic tables inside the box are to keep the lid from touching the cheese and messing it up :D

I have seen round boxes, but as you add more sides to a box and make the shape more complicated it becomes more expensive to buy. More cost means more expensive pizza that you won't buy.

Probably for shipping purposes. Round things tend to roll.

It would be a lot easier to make a square pizza than to mass produce and ship circular boxes. Square boxes are collapsible and stack-able.

It is a lot cheaper to manufacture round pizzas and sell us the empty air space.

It's all just a conspiracy to sell more cardboard. The corners of a square box with a round pizza inside are just wasted space, but you paid for that space. It's a scam on society and it needs to stop.
