Because it wouldn't be worth the extra cost of engineering and assembling sturdy round boxes, especially when the square ones work just fine.

A round box isn't really practical to manufacture... as well as wasteful, as it leaves behind a lot of unused material when you stamp it out.

It is easier to make a box larger and square, then a making a machine that is round to cut cardboard.

Square is easier to make, stack on shelves, and ship, and that's all before the pizza gets into the box.

Nobody makes round boxes.. that would be expensive and time consuming.
