Their hate for Obama is beyond anything I have seen in my life time. (69)
The Republican party is really the party of hate, hostility, fear, greed and deceit. I am not saying all individual Republicans follow this but the Party ideology is exactly this. Think about it. Give it some deep thought. The Republican party of today is insane. Hate, hostility, fear, greed and deceit is their complete agenda.
The public and small businesses hate it. It was written by insurance companies. Nobody in Congress even read it. Organized crime, mostly the Russian Mafia love it to death.
They didn't write it for starters. Youtube "Nancy Pelosi you have to pass it before you can read it".
There's this thing called separation of powers. the concept is each state is allowed to develop things as it wishes. The federal government was given very specific things to do like protect the states in case of war. The reason this was important was because if someone felt one state didn't represent their views, they had other options. England didn't allow that. It was so important that they called this country the United States. Not the Republic of America. But the United States. So, if Massachusetts wanted public health care, and South Dakota did not, that could happen. What Romney did was fine for Massachusetts. What Obama did was use the federal government to deprive 26 states of their right to decide the federal health care model did not fit their needs.
Romneycare=state. Obamacare=federal. If you ever hear of someone called a "fiscal conservative" that makes all the world of difference. I don't care what peeps do in Massachusetts. It's their decision. They live there. I don't. Get it? The US Constitution was very careful to explain exactly what "United States" meant. Some people don't get it.
Obama sent congress a health care proposal with a single payer option. Republicans decided that the mandate like Romneycare idea was better and changed it. Now they blame Obama for the change.
1st: It's not the same bill.
2nd: Romney is not a republican.
3rd: I've lived in CA, MD, NV. How the hell should I be expected to have complained when I didn't know his existed until long after Obama rammed his nightmare through without our consent, behind closed doors, adding pages SOME didn't get to read.
Conservatives are all for improving healthcare. The ACA will not do that while wasting trillions of dollars. There are better ways to accomplish the stated goals.
True. Take a block from her as a badge of honor. Plus, she calls you a 14 year old, but no one really knows the true age of anyone here. You have always proffered good points in a respectful manner. That's all that counts.

Go figure.

Well then, whattheheck IS he?
The Dems were too afraid of the Trial Lawyers Association and the Pharmaceutical Companies and the Insurance Companies to pass anything sensible.
Grow up.
