Why do people in politics do this?

Why do they always accuse one of being some kind of political "label". For example "You're a liberal! *Ra* *Ra* *Ra*!" or "you're a conservative! *complain* *complain *complain". Or say: Liberals have mental disabilities (more complaining). Conservatives are communists (even more complaining). Really, you sound immature. Can't you discuss politics like an adult?

It's simpleminded BS. Wanting to fit others into a box they do not completely fit in so that they feel more comfortable and in control in their world. It's also used to insult, which is stupid. I tend to lean liberal and I'm proud of that. There is nothing wrong with it. But that term by far does not describe a full picture of me whatsoever.

Isn't it annoying?!
Even in the "fun and humor" you get some crack about Liberals or etc etc..and then you try to reason with them and they're like "NO my opinion is the only opinion" and begin ranting about how great they are...

It's easier to blame someone than to actually solve the problem. People, unfortunately, tend to look for a reason to blame something on somebody. Just look back through history, WWII it was the Jewish peoples fault, Red Scare, communism, there aren't any jobs, immigrants. there's more, but 3's always a good number to list. It's very wrong and they should focus on the actual point, whether they'll do it or not who knows

The United States is full of spoiled brats who kick and scream when they don't get their way. We've become a nation of whiners. It's very sad really, and I'm sure every other nation out there is laughing at us. Introducing the "New America":
