So that its subjects will view it with admiration, as a chicken which has the daring and courage to boldly cross the road, but also with fear, for whom among them has the strength to contend with such a paragon of avian virtue? In such a manner is the princely chicken's dominion maintained.
I love chickens. They can be a bit annoying when they get underfoot (they're way worse than cats in the regard) or when they inexplicably cross the road (especially when you're in a hurry and they're in front of your car), but really they're quite warm critters. I sit with them quite often, when they're in the barn at night, "and hold them, and love them, and pet them, so they will never want for lack of love".
I'm more interested in what the chicken did before to make him crossing the road such a world wide inquiry, why must we question this chicken's every move, what makes this chicken so special?
..this is a very dark joke
because he had warrants!
