Sports and Athletics are very much activities for heterosexuals. Homosexuals are too busy trying to inflict their lifestyle on others and convince others to be homosexual that they have no time to train.

Also, there is a interesting coorilation between religious belief and physical power. Chuck Norris, Mr. T, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hulk Hogan, and Shameous have strong Christian beliefs and are among the strongest celebrities.

The statement is an unproven assumption.

How do you know there are so few? What percentage would be "so few" and are you sure the figures support that?

Lastly, maybe many do not come out for fear of being seen as unmanly.

The first step is to establish that the proposition is true before you can speculate on the cause.

I don't know if the prevelance is skewed positively or negatively within the athlete cohort compared to the general population. My guess is that it's not.

I think the person asking this question should provide statistics showing that there are few homosexual athletes. To make a claim that there are fewer homosexual athletes without supporting that claim is prejudice, pre judging before one has facts.

Who da hell is paying attention to these athlete personal lives like that. Really I don't care to know. I just get tired of seeing them doing stupid things in public, like drinking and driving a 100 mph down the highway with drugs or a gun in their cars.

There are many more than what are publicly acknowledged. Many do not come out because their team mates may not accept it, knowing they are running around the locker room naked together, and many also do not come out because of financial (endorsements) reasons

How would you know, is there a tag or something they have to wear so we all KNOW that someone is homosexual. Is someone counting them, is this a disappointment in this great revelation, what kind of question is this. do we know exactly how many heterosexuals there are or how many might be practicing celibacy, why does it even matter to anyone

One reason is because there are so few homosexual people.

Despite the pro-gay propaganda that puts homosexuals at 10 to 15 percent of the population, the truth is that gays make up no more than 2 or 3 percent.
