Actually it's my 16 year old cousin. Actually, he's my ex-wife's cousin's step-son. Yeah, I know. Only in Arkansas!
So anyway, I've never had kids of my own. I guess, as a result, I have to get my parenting jollies vicariously through others kids. So sue me!
I've known this kid all his life and especially the last few years we've been pretty close. His folks have had a lot of problems the last few years. As a result he's spent a lot of time with me during his teen years. It's been really interesting seeing the changes that take place in a young person as they grow and change, both physicly and psychologicly. And how that person deals with those changes. The choices they make and the reasoning they develop for themselves that precipitate those decisions.
I know that this isn't the kind of answer that was being looked for with this question. But there ya go!

I can't remember. So I suppose I didn't think they were that interesting.

Her name is Miah, she goes to my old school. She has cancer since she was 4 and is fed through a tube because her throat hurts so much. She always makes the best of every situation and I love her.
