    I don't think anything would happen to them. I don't want them around anyone who I so fundamentally disagree. When they are adults, they can be around whomever they wish. While they are children, I will have a say with whom they associate.

    It's the dog on the roof thing that lost it for Romney but really I doubt that either of them is interested in baby sitting.

    Wow. There was no choice for neither, so I went with Romney, because I think he's probably a really decent family man. But really, I don't know if I'd trust my kids to anyone not in my family.

    eh...good point. I didn't think it through. Maybe both? I THINK what I meant was, I would trust neither, since I don't know them, and they are not family members of mine, so that would be neither, right? Then I turned around and said I'll bet Romney is a decent family man, so maybe him. So I was confusing. For that matter, I imagine that Obama loves his kids too, and is probably also a decent family man. I still don't think I'd trust either of them with my kids, because, well, I didn't trust anyone with my children (who are grown now by the way) except certain family members who had built up a significant level of trust with my wife and I.

    I understand what you are saying. Your statement was that you trust them only with you and your wife that implied that there is NO ONE you trust to take care of your kids for any amount of time. I misunderstood I guess.

    I'm going solely off of what I know about Romney. I just feel like Romney has had more parenting experiences, I frankly know nothing about Obama's home life before 2008.

    from the excerpts I have read from his book, I don't care to waste my time on it. All the quotes I have read have a very arrogant tone to them, IMO.

    I've read a bunch of books on 0 and about other people who influenced him past and present but I won't read a book he wrote. Well, actually, Bill Ayers wrote Dreams From My Father so maybe Barry never did write a book
