I'd save my pets before my own mother.

Sorry, but I do not see animals as beneath humans the way most other humans do. I don't feel like arguing this point so don't even bother replying to this if you don't like what I have to say.

My pets are my babies and, like any mother of human children, I put them first.

of course! a stranger kid! i could not sleep or stop thinking with the guilt that i allowed someone to die and save an animal instead. this might be a really painful and difficult decision, try to imagine the pain of knowing someones son or daughter died because you where being selfish. That guilt would haunt me forever. besides, once a human soul is gone you can never get it back.

My pet is a family to me. I love my pet as much as i love my mom, dad, sister and brother. I will do everything i can to save him. I'd even give up my life to save my pets life, thats how much love i have for my pet. The kid isnt even 0.000001% important to ME compared to my pet. At the end of the day, my family is what matters to me the most, regardless of what species it consists of. I love em all the same and i will stand loyal till death. Rules and morals can go shove em selfs.

I'd have to save my dog every time. She's my personal responsibility. It's my duty to keep her safe. Anyone who would not do the same has no business being trusted with any pets.

I don't know if I want to tell me husband this, but animals can be replaced. Children are harder to do so with.

I don't like kids too much, I don't know if that kid would be trouble and it'd need much more money to raise. The pet is my favourite pet so I know I like him and he's cheaper to have.

Have to go with the pet many years ago it would have been the kid but, you will probally be sued and in trouble because you touched said kid and tried to help said kid, and probally go to jail because of the nutty legal system today so I will just help my pet after all they aren't going to sue me. Its really sad that society has come to this isn't it? Especially with me I love children and never wanted to see anyone hurt. Tough ?.I love animals to.

    Oh gee I said Kid.
Now your making me re-think my answer. Never heaard of a pet sueing for molestation or sexual harrasment.
Now that you mention it I do remember an incident where a woman pushed a kid out of the path of a car. Because it made the kid fall and hit it's head the parents sued the woman for damages. I think the Judge threw it out but what grattitude right?

Wrong Govenor! Wrong! We share this planet with a whole host of other species, none of which is lesser or greater than the human species. The reason there are so many damn problems in this world, the reason there are animals living existences of extreme horror, the reason our earth is in such disrepair is because the human species thinks it is more moral, more valuable, more worthy of life and better than anyone or anything else. One quick look will tell you the opposite is more likely the truth.

Whatever, I know it would be a fruitless effort on my part to reason with people such as yourself. I have had dealings with the crazy PETA people and you do realize the "animal rights" groups are classified as the biggest domestic terrorists in the U.S. for a reason.

PETA can be pretty outlandish and even hurt their own cause, but they have also done a tremendous amount of good.
You just repeat propaganda you have heard put out by corporations, industries, they probably harm.
"Biggest Domestic Terrorists?" No one they are against does terrible things because someone told you so? Stop talking out of your ass (I never used that phrase before, but it fits here, I enjoyed that very much).

Also all PETA people are not crazy, just like everyone who would save a kid over a pet is not crazy.
So you know before you say a lot of stupid things - I do not belong to PETA - Okay...Go -

    Animal Liberation Front
    Main article: Animal Liberation Front
Animal Liberation Front (ALF) is a name used internationally by activists who engage in direct action tactics on behalf of animals. This includes removing animals from laboratories and fur farms, and sabotaging facilities involved in animal testing and other animal-based industries. According to ALF statements, any act that furthers the cause of animal liberation, where all reasonable precautions are taken not to endanger life, may be claimed as an ALF action. The group is listed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a domestic terrorist organization.

You are making a few mistakes. I will point a a couple.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security might have some bias (that was sarcasm).
You have to not just trust something because it has a good stronge sounding name. They have made mistakes and use buzz terms.

ALF is cited for, "removing animals from laboratories and fur farms, and sabotaging facilities involved in animal testing and other animal-based industries?"
Terrorism may be in the eyes of the animal being harmed with mascara tests.

Also do you know what is now considered terrorism? The standard is bizaarly low. I mean low! You have to know more than, someone is called a terrorist, to know what they did or if you should worry or say, "oh go away," to them, you know what I mean? And ALF wont bomb you. Or do you torture bunnies?
    I'm guessing you don't.

  • addie The Gov... 2012/04/09 19:13:28
    addie
I did not call you a liar and did not say anything nutty. You are the one who has made huge generalizations and said things that are extreme, you are the one with all or nothing thinking, but you only want to hear ideas that agree with your own. So saying, taking the conclusion made by a government agency, who has agreed with you, with a grain of salt, you want to call me names. I did not even say that group does not use terrorist tactics, but how much of a threat they are to public safety is pretty questionable. We know the harm labs do, though. That the labs don't bother you makes you a nut case.
Not wanting unneccessary harm to come to animals makes me normal.

First let's get THIS straight : a dog WILL bolt if danger is coming! A child (especially ones with dumb parents) will probably just scream and wait for somebody to come!
  • addie Sodaz56 2012/04/09 05:21:09 (edited)
    addie
What I never understand is parents being safe after a fire, outside being interviewed and their kids died inside of the house. What the heck is that?? They bolted without thier kids?
You would not get me on TV if I had done that! lol

My dog is small and would be trapped because of that, she is also blind and also a Dachsund, the last two (even independently) mean she is not bolting away from me in an emergency. A kid has a much better chance than my dog to get out and I am not nuts about kids.
The Question is my MAC or my dog and then, maybe, which do I go back for between the kid and what I left before. heehee
