It reminds me of the "Gone With the Wind" skit on the Carol Burnett show, when Carol (as Scarlet) makes a dress from the curtains with the rod still on them.

Me, too. She (and the rest of the cast) had a super-funny show without being vulgar or obscene. A show like that wouldn't last very long now.

The younger generation wouldn't like it. But I know old geezers like me sure would,,,, I still watch Red Skelton on DVD now and again. I like the old shows better than all the nonsense on the TV now a days,,,,
