Kirk was brave, hot, caring and passionate. Picard has always annoyed me. He always seemed humorless, a little too much in his head and he struck me as a wussy who couldn't take a punch. LOL.

Personally I like all the captains of Star Trek but 2 that stand out the most an they are Jean-Luc Picard and Kathryn Janeway fallowed by James T. Kirk and Benjamin Sisko. I didn’t like Jonathan Archer in “Star Trek Enterprise” That wasn’t Star Trek. “Star Trek Enterprise” was someone trying to make a prequel to the Star Trek series. They could have done a lot better and revived NASA an all others to seek the stars.

The actor who portayed Picard just didn't seem to fit the role.

I liked Janeway too...but she wasn't one of the options...actually I loved Voyager the best because I loved all of their interaction with the Borg & Seven of 9... :)
