Actually "Dexter" is my favorite serial killer - if you have not watched his show yet - you should check him out - it is an excellent show. Start with season 1 and work your way up - I believe this is his last season and it has been one of the few I watch faithfully. I hope he gets a Golden Globe this year

It's so funny; I used to work with this gal who swore that her Step-father was The Zodiac Murderer . . . . Everything that she said about him turned out to be true. The Zodiac killed 9-people and got away with it. The people that I am talking about are all dead too. The murders stopped. It's really not that much of a coincidence since those murders mostly took place way back in 1969 or so . . . Well, of course, the step-daughter; The Zodiac, and all of them could possibly be dead by now. So, what? The Mystery will never be solved. No big deal.

I was no where near Cali when this guy was operating but he still scared the hell outta me and I changed the way I secure my perimeters once I heard about what he was doing.

I wonder if they'll ever execute him before he dies of natural causes.

Thats a tough one but Im gonna have to go with H. H. Holmes, no one even knows how many people he killed. He designed his whole hotel to have secret compartments and passageways to kill people. He really was an evil genius.

Jack the Ripper always facinated me, I suppose it's because it was a mystery. And Ed, Gein inspired so many amazing horror films, and DEXTER was awesome. But, seriously, why would you favor serial killers?

Just 'cause some of them are more interesting than others, I guess. I know people who write to Richard Ramirez occasionally, and a friend of mine wrote him a letter so they added a few questions that I had for him. I just think he's really interesting.. so he's my favorite. :D

Somewhat. I don't believe we're anymore superior than wildlife. Arrogance/inflated egos, as you put it, fits perfectly into man. "Twisted animals" that have evolved, but still possess animalistic behavior. Denial is comical. I guess that's what sparks my interest for a 'once in a blue moon' read pertaining to some nut-job. Curiosity of what twisted that individual to amplify the craziness/animalistic behavior... Events? Genetics? Or just a "soul-less individual".

I dont think they are soul less - I think they are evil and mean because they want to be - some people just cant help themselves - they were born mean and they grow up to be mean - kind of like that movie the bad seed - some people just love to watch other people squirm - just because - some people just plain suck
