Users from religiously themed dating sites, JDate and Christian Mingle, were asked to name their “favorite political news funnyman.” Not surprisingly, Jon Stewart, who is indeed Jewish, "was the overwhelming favorite of the JDate poll (51 percent) while Catholic Stephen Colbert won a plurality of the votes on Christian Mingle (39 percent)."

In addition to Stewart and Colbert, the other two political satirists listed in the survey included “Real Time” host Bill Maher or “Weekend Update” anchor Seth Meyers. Who do you prefer to get your political satire from?

I don't think The Daily Show would've lasted as long as it has if they Replaced Craig Kilbourne with someone other than Stew beef! I don't even think the show would've lasted much longer If Kilbourne Stayed. The Jon Stewart Daily show has launched so many careers as well. Stephen Colbert, Steve Carrell, Ed Helms, Liz Winstead, Rob Cordary etc.

Man talk about a tough choice. Meyers suffers from the limitation of network tv. And each of the others has their own audience. I love them all but only actually record Mahar. If I had to rank em it would be Mahar, Stewart, Cobert, Meyers. However I would love to see Meyers with the freedom of HBO.

Actually, I don't much care for any of them. But Stephen Colbert seems to be an equal-opportunity zinger.

Once, in fact, a good friend of mine appeared on his show. That friend got me a pass to get into the studio with him and his family. So I participated in audience warm-up and everything. After that, my friend said, "I have to admit--he's a class act."
