He thought of the general and special theory of relativity. Said "God does not play dice with the university IMHO I interpret as meaning he believed there was order in the universe and a divine cause for that order. He was one of the founders of the American Association for the Advancement of Science."

Tesla Rocked His work was so beyond his time that the Military took hold of it when Tesla died. Their work today using Tesla technology is just catching up. The magnitude of the effect that his great Genius had on our society is just being realized. There is a statue of Tesla in the City of Niagara Falls,NY. His influence on Hydro electric systems gas led to the
generation of massive amounts of electric power. There is now also a Tesla Motors Company.

So very true...one of his inventions squashed by his rivals: wireless electricity. Many other ideas of his were stolen by his peers because they had stronger political connections.

My favorite genius is Bill Clinton. Our former President doesn't have any earth shattering inventions but, in my opinion, He truly is a genius. Maybe He is a Genius in Politics. I know that what he was able to accomplish during his presidency is no less than pure genius. He managed to get several controversial pieces of legislation approved by the Republican controlled Senate and House of Representatives. He balanced the budget and actually turned a budget surplus over to Bush when he left office. A surplus the Republicans threw away in less than 2 months. He is a example of why the Constitution needs to be amended to allow a President to run for a 3rd term if He has sit out one four year term.

While I will give him and the Republican Congress credit for reducing spending a bit, they never did achieve a surplus. That is pure myth. The debt increased each year under Clinton.
