Christopher Reeve will always be the legendary Superman. I did like Tom Welling in "Smallville" and if anybody should carry the torch in feature films it should be him.

Christopher Reeve was such a good Superman some artists even draw the comic book Superman to look like him. They also casted Brandon Routh simply because looked like him.

He was the only one (in my opinion) who could pull off both the quiet, nerdy Clark Kent and the man of steel, Superman. I'll admit I haven't seen them all, but Dean Cain, Tom Welling and Brandon Routh weren't convincing as Clark Kent at all!

Christopher Reeve will always be my favorite. He is the best in my book. But I really like Brandon Routh too. Oh, and... you left out John Haymes Newton and Gerard Christopher. (Both played Superboy on TV in the 90's). ;)
